Maxine Paul has joined the environmental consulting team at Adelante Consulting, New Mexico’s premier environmental consulting firm helping organizations reduce their negative impact on the climate while staying compliant with state and federal laws. For the last 15 years, Paul has worked to solve environmental problems in New Mexico. Prior to joining Adelante Consulting as Director of Business Development, Paul built the Environmental Division at the Pueblo of Santa Ana’s Department of Natural Resources, overseeing new programs in air quality, cleanup of formerly used defense sites, brownfields, solar energy planning, and climate resilience, remediating over 1000 acres of land and bringing in over $3M in grants and agreements.

Paul received a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Columbia University, where she studied remote sensing of carbon sequestration in New Mexico’s ecosystems. She received her master’s degree in water resources from the University of New Mexico.
